Successful Surface Spray Dewatering Application with Coagulant

Our team recently completed a surface spray dewatering treatment utilising PAC (Poly Aluminium Chloride) as the coagulant, with excellent results.

Key Results:

By applying PAC via a controlled surface spray dosing method, we ensured an even distribution of the coagulant across the water’s surface. This approach promoted rapid floc formation, enabling suspended particles to settle efficiently and reducing turbidity to levels well within compliance requirements.

Why PAC?
Poly Aluminium Chloride is a highly effective coagulant for construction and dewatering applications. It works by binding fine suspended solids, algae, and other particulates, forming larger, heavier flocs that quickly settle out of the water column. Compared to other treatment methods, PAC offers:

Environmental & Operational Benefits:

This project highlights the value of targeted chemical dosing strategies in managing challenging water conditions on site. By combining the right treatment chemistry with precise application techniques, we can deliver outcomes that protect waterways, safeguard compliance, and keep construction projects moving forward.
