Statewide River And Stream Management Trains AGL Loy Yang In Spill Response

Statewide River and Stream Management ran a “Spill Response” Training Day for warehouse staff at AGL Loy Yang on the 14th May 2015.

The 3 hour workshop was a mixture of theory and practical “hands on” training specifically targeted at the stock they are handling on site, such as lubricants, degreasers and grease products. It incorporated their internal policies and procedures when dealing with a spill on site.

The course aimed to provide;

The course was positively received by the participants who enjoyed the practical exercises where they used the spill products to actually stop, surround, cover, sweep the spill and dispose of clean up materials in line with internal AGL procedures and legislative requirements.
