After more than five years of dedicated effort, Statewide River and Stream Management has officially wrapped up its involvement on the West Gate Tunnel Project (WGTP).
Our team has been proud to play a vital role in delivering environmental management and water treatment solutions throughout one of Victoria’s largest infrastructure projects. Over this time, we treated more than 300 million litres of water while providing a wide range of services including:
The complexity and scale of the WGTP has been a challenging yet rewarding journey. Working alongside multiple contractors and stakeholders, our focus has remained on protecting waterways, minimising environmental impact, and ensuring best practice outcomes for construction discharges.
As the project reaches completion, we reflect on the dedication of our staff, the strong partnerships we’ve built, and the innovative solutions developed along the way. This milestone marks not just the end of a project, but also a demonstration of what can be achieved with collaboration, expertise, and persistence.
We look forward to taking the knowledge gained from WGTP into future projects across Victoria, continuing our mission to deliver effective, reliable, and environmentally responsible water management solutions.
