Turbidity Curtains provide sedimentation protection for a watercourse from up slope land disturbance, or from dredging or filling within a watercourse where soil movment is unavoidable.
Conditions where practice applies. Applicable to non-tidal and tidal watercourses where intrusion into the watercourse by construction activities results in sediment migration. They are designed to be used in areas of low flow.
